Basic Security Training

Paragon Security guarantees your success in obtaining your Ontario Security Guard License.
Our goal is to make it easy; our team of experienced trainers work with you directly to ensure you have all the information and tools needed to be successful. We will allow you to re-take the course, or any module to ensure you pass the Ministry test, for free. This is our guarantee.

BST – Learning Options

Ontario Basic Security Guard Training (BST) – In-class Program: ($175)

Our 40-hour, in-class BST program is designed to support all styles of learning. In-class is most effective if a structured, interactive learning experience is what you need.
Paragon’s Basic Security Training course is available every week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at Paragon’s Head Office in Toronto.

Ontario Basic Security Guard Training (BST) – Online Program: ($175)

Understanding that our lives can be busy, our Online Basic Security Training course is designed to be self paced, of ten (10) modules. Students must complete all online modules (approximately 32 hours), followed by an eight (8) hours First Aid and CPR Level C Certification course.
Emergency First Aid

Emergency First Aid

Our Emergency First Aid and CPR-C course is a blend of online and in-person learning, with the in-person section taking place in Toronto or Mississauga. If you currently hold a valid EFA certificate, you will be given the opportunity to present that to our administrator aer registering for the program.

Ministry Test and License Application

After the successful completion of our BST program, our team administrator will assist you with scheduling the Ministry test and the licence application process.
